The WPJM Multi-User plugin (v2.2.1) is the foundation of WorkPEI's multi-user employer system. It replaces WP Job Manager's native author-based job dashboard with a company-based visibility model, where any user sharing the same mb_company_id user meta value can view and manage the same job listings.

On employer registration via Gravity Forms, the plugin automates the full onboarding workflow. A company CPT post is created via the GF Advanced Post Creation add-on, and the company post ID is stamped onto the user as mb_company_post_id. The company ID is stamped as mb_company_id, and the post author is set to the new employer. This is handled via a dual-hook pattern using gform_advancedpostcreation_post_after_creation and gform_user_registered to handle GF's async background processing, where feeds run in separate processes and timing cannot be guaranteed.
Team members registered via a separate GF form inherit the employer's mb_company_id, giving them shared dashboard visibility. A custom workpei_team_members shortcode renders a table of team members with AJAX-powered Revoke Access functionality, which removes the team member's company ID and reverts them to Subscriber role.
At job submission, the plugin stamps _company_id on the job listing from the submitting user's mb_company_post_id. This is used by the AJAX split-layout job board to link the employer's company name in the job detail panel directly to their company profile post.
The HR role is synced with WPJM employer capabilities automatically. All settings including form IDs, field IDs, and meta keys are configurable via a WordPress settings page with no hardcoded values.
